When in Rome do as the Romans do is the adage of etiquette when finding ones self in an unfamiliar land. If that land happens to be Louisville and you’re looking for a place to wine, dine, shop the day or dance the night away there’s one place you should know…. It’s where the Romans of “Slugger City” go when they wanna get live.
4th Street Live in downtown is a hub of activity and alive with excitement. This is a place where you can do it all. Be good, be bad or just be yourself. There’s something for everyone here.
A 350,000-sq. ft. entertainment and retail complex located on 4th Street, between Liberty and Muhammad Ali Boulevard, 4th Street is a party paradise with a cluster of restaurants and entertainment venues including Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, Hard Rock Cafe, T.G.I. Friday’s, Sully’s Irish Pub, The Sports & Social Club (bowling alley and restaurant), Ri Ra Irish Pub, The Fudgery, and the first-ever Maker’s Mark Bourbon House & Lounge.
When the sun goes down (and even when the sun’s still shining!) Fourth Street Live! has nothing less than a wide variety of bars and nightclubs including The Marquee Bar, Mosaic, Sully’s Saloon, The Sports & Social Club, Howl at the Moon, PBR Louisville and Tengo Sed Cantina.
A mall-style food court is part of the package with restaurants like Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Subway and Philly Station to cure the late night munchies.
Traffic on 4th Street through the complex is often open, but closed for large public gatherings such as music concerts and other events.
