Picture yourself a single woman going out on a blind date to a restaurant where you eat out of a toilet while sitting on a toilet. Doesn’t exactly instill faith that your mate will be getting a second date but the scenario could be a likely one if you happen to live in southern California.

Based on similar gimmicky themed restaurants trending in China and Taiwan the Magic Restroom Cafe has opened in the City Of Industry, Ca..

And though probably not considered an aphrodisiac; think stinky tofu, oyster omelets and fatty pork over rice. The food is still uniquely Taiwanese. And why shouldn’t it be. Magic Room’s chefs are uniquely Taiwanese with as much as 30 years experience.

So if you can appreciate a fun time with a group of friends (make sure you bring a camera) who don’t take their surroundings too seriously than you owe it to yourself to join the Chinese and Taiwanese locals who are flocking to its doors. While your there make sure you try one of their signature dishes such as the Magic Curry Rice for around $10 or the Ground Pork w/ Rice for around $8.

You can find the Magic Room Cafe @ 18558 Gale Ave, No. 222, City of Industry, (626) 664-3766. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
